Based in the worlds first Book Town, Hay-on-Wye, that straddles the English/Welsh border, Book Town Taxis can be seen shuttling both residents and visitors alike around the local area daily.
With an 8 seater minibus and a 4 seater car we have plenty of room for both you and your belongings.
If you’re planning to see our local area on foot or by cycling we can transport your luggage for you so that it’s ready and waiting at your destination when you arrive with our luggage transfer service.

Do we allow dogs in our taxis?
Dogs are allowed if booking our minibus however we don’t allow dogs in our cars for the benefit of our other passengers.
Do we have car seats for children?
We don’t currently provide car seats for children however you’re more than welcome to use your own in our vehicles.
Can I book a taxi in advance of my appointment or travel?
We’re happy to take bookings in advance of your travelling.
How do you take payment?
You can pay for our services by cash or card.
Do you offer longer journeys?

Do you do luggage transfers?
We’re often asked to transport luggage for visitors who are walking the Offas Dyke in the area.
